Department of Physics, Amritapuri Campus

I have always been fascinated as a child to learn and explore the outer space and study the natural phenomena and physical bodies occurring in the cosmos. Despite being an engineering student in electronics, I was always intrigued by Astronomy and Astrophysics. I took part in various workshops and enrolled myself to science and physics electives organized by the physics department and that’s where I was happy learning what I have always wanted to.
The physics department at Amritapuri is a very well equipped department comprising of warm and friendly people. They support and encourage students to achieve and learn and also to progress and push further in academia and otherwise. I would like to thank these dedicated people who pursue to improve their hard work for the benefit of their students; they are such an inspiration to never give up on one’s dream. I now plan on pursuing my Masters in physics thanks to the humungous support that I have received from the department. If anybody wishes to pursue a UG or a master or even a PhD level degree I would whole heartedly recommend Amrita sciences department at Amritapuri for I guarantee that you will have the best time of your life learning and growing admist these wonderful people.
