With the blessings of our beloved Amma, the student volunteer initiated Seva activity- "SEVAMRITHAM" was officially inaugurated by Swami Poornamritananda Puri on January 21, 2009.
In this project, sevaks from all the schools at AIMS provide psychological, social and spiritual support to patients admitted in the general wards. Each sevak adopts a bed in the ward. Volunteers visit these patients regularly and try to provide tender care.
To empower the student volunteers, various satsangs with the senior faculty of AIMS are also arranged periodically. This seva activity is in progress. With the support from the administration, sevaks are able to address some of the genuine needs of the patients.
