Workshop On - August 19th – 21st 2016          Apply for Student Challenge Programme

ETCVision '16

The department of Computer Science and Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru, is organizing a workshop on Eye Tracking and Computer Vision, ETCVision 2016, from August 19 - 21, 2016.
The main objective of the workshop is to bridge the computer vision and eye tracking research for innovative solutions in real world scenario. It aims to identify the key domains in human visual perception and cognition to provide promising frameworks for solving challenges by conducting cognitive science and computer vision studies.
The top researchers from NUS, IISc, TCS Innovation Labs, ABB, Robert Bosch with Amrita will be delivering on the key aspects, models and applications in computational attention field. The pioneers of eye tracking, SensoMotoric Instruments (SMI), Germany will deliver the theoretical understanding and practical sessions on eye tracking methodologies focusing on fundamentals, experiments, data analytics and applications. The sessions will feature a mixture of presentation materials, video clips, case studies from past and current research studies, and hands-on experience.
The underlying vision of this workshop is to gain useful insight to build computational visual attention models which can be extended for various applications in health care and industry to develop intelligent machine vision tasks.
