Experts in the field of Nanoscience took the classes.

Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) at Kochi has successfully completed liver transplantation surgeries to the patients with acute liver failure. Till date AIMS has completed six successful liver transplants, one from cadaveric and others from living donors.

A five-day national workshop on nanoscience and nanotechnology began at the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus. The workshop, organised by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, was inaugurated by V. Radhakrishnan, Chairman, Undergraduate Program Committee, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Deputy Director, the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, Jurez Vasi delivered a special address at the inaugural function.
