Dr. R. Chidambaram Inaugurated ACWR 2011 Conference

"There is a strong disconnect between research, development and delivery system in the country while in the West, the industry and the academia work together with a long list of innovations waiting to be commercialized," said R. Chidambaram, Principal Scientific Advisor to Prime Minister. He was speaking after inaugurating the international conference on Wireless Technologies for Humanitarian Relief (ACWR 2011) at Amritapuri.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Centre for Wireless Networks and Applications organised the first ever International Conference on ‘Wireless Technologies for Humanitarian Relief’ at Amrita School of Engineering, Amritapuri. R Chidambaram, Principal Scientific Advisor to Central Government, inaugurated the conference. He would be the general chair of the conference.
