Lauds Services of Amalabharatham Volunteers as Cleaning Drive at Pampa Begins

“The support and service rendered by the Mata Amritanandamayi Math to clean the Sabarimala premises is immense,” said V. S. Sivakumar, Kerala Minister for Devaswom. He was inaugurating an intensive pre-season cleaning drive at Pampa on the foothills of Sabarimala. He also said the hard work rendered by the 5,000 strong volunteer force attached to the ‘Amalabharatham’ project of the Math last year had earned acclaim.

3500 Amrita Volunteers for Clean-Up Drive at Sabarimala

The Mata Amritanandamayi Math (MAM) will be deploying 3500 volunteers for the intensive cleaning drive planned at Sabarimala on November 3 and 4. 

Gearing Up For A Noble Mission

The students, faculty and staff members of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham are all set to begin this year’s historic clean-up of Sabarimala.

During November 2-5, 2012, they will work together to clean the temple premises at the mountain-top and the holy river, at its base.
