AmritaWNA Wins Second Prize of NABARD Award for Rural Innovations 2012

The Amrita Centre for Wireless Networks and Applications of the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has won the second prize of the NABARD Award for Rural Innovations 2012 under the academic and research innovations category. A statement issued in this regard said that the award was given for the research project, Real-time Landslide Monitoring System via Wireless Sensor Network, at Munnar, by scientists led by Dr. Maneesha V. Ramesh Director, Amrita Center for Wireless Networks and Applications (AmritaWNA), Amritapuri, who had designed, developed and deployed it.

NABARD Rural Innovation Award for Amrita's Wireless Landslide Sensing Technology

A wireless landslide sensing technology designed and developed by researchers of Amrita Centre for Wireless Network and Applications, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri has been adjudged as the second best rural innovation in the academic /research category given by National Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).
