Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham at Amritapuri Campus organized an International Conference on Technology Enhanced Education during January 2012. The theme of the conference is 'Educational technology for social benefit. Dilip Chenoy, Managing Director, National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) distributed the certificate to graduates, who completed the Computerized Plumbing Course conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and developed by AMMACHI labs.

All Women Batch Completes Computerized Plumbing Course Conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham

All women batch of students has graduated from a computerized plumbing course conducted by the Amrita University. The course follows the government-approved Modular Employable Skills syllabus. It was developed by the Amrita Multi-Modal Applications using Computer Human Interaction (AMMACHI) labs at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri.

Umapathy Acharya from the Viswakarma Institute of Sacred Architecture, Tamil Nadu, spoke to the students about temple architecture.
