17th Amrita Alumni Meet of Coimbatore Campus Held

The 17th General Body Meeting of Alumni Association of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amrita University was conducted with great fervor at the  Coimbatore Campus. Around 200 Alumni from all walks of life including self made entrepreneurs to civil servants and from US to Middle East attended the joyous event. 

Amrita Faculty, Prashant R.Nair Receives Computer Society of India (CSI) Academic Excellence Award 2014

Mr. Prashant R.Nair, Vice-Chairman, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore was awarded the Computer Society of India (CSI) Academic Excellence Award 2014 at the 49th annual convention of CSI at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad on 12th December, 2014.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, organized a two day National Workshop on ‘Electronic System Design & Verification (ESLD&V) 2014” from November 14-15, 2014. Knowledge Network Project Key to Research: Expert Says at an International Conference, Amritapuri Campus

Addressing the gathering after inaugurating the 6th International IEEE Conference on Technology for Education (T4E), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus December 19, 2014 Dr. S. V. Raghavan, Scientific Secretary, Government of India said the National Knowledge Network (NKN) was the largest and the fastest network in the world providing an almost free cyber space access to educational and research institutions. He also launched Amrita University’s Educational Platform AVIEW on the NKN at Amritapuri campus.
