Amrita School of Medicine, Kochi Conducted Medical Camp in Komalikudi, Idukki

Amrita School of Medicine Alumni voluntarily conducted a medical camp as part of this year's Independence Day celebration at Komalikudi Village, Bison Valley, in Idukki. Komalikudi is one of the 101 villages adopted by Amrita SeRVe, an initiative aimed at developing rural India. The camp was inaugurated by Swami Jnanamritananda Puri.

Amrita Alumna S. Chithra Takes Charge as Assistant Collector of Kollam

Amrita Alumna S. Chithra, a 2014 batch Indian Administrative Service officer, took charge as the new assistant collector of Kollam on July 29, 2015. S. Chithra was a graduate with an MBBS degree from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi.
