AmritaCREATE's Learning App Among Five Finalists of Adult Literacy XPRIZE Competition

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham's AmritaCREATE (Amrita Center for Research in Analytics, Technologies & Education) was selected to be one of five finalist teams for the Barbara Bush Foundation Adult Literacy XPRIZE. The competition, presented by Dollar General Literacy Foundation, is a global program that challenges teams to develop mobile applications for existing smart devices that result in the greatest increase in literacy skills among participating adult learners in just 12 months.

Amrita Professors Visit Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) D-Lab

Dr. Balakrishnan Shankar, Associate Dean, Amrita School of Engineering, Amritapuri campus and Mr. Manoj P, Amrita School of Business, Bengaluru campus, visited Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) D-Lab. During the visit, Amrita faculty members met Dr. Bob Nanes, Executive director and instructor of D-Lab at MIT.
