Amrita Ranked 4th Best University in India: NIRF India Ranking 2020

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has emerged as the fourth best university in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Ranking 2020 for Indian Universities. Amrita was awarded 62.27 scores with the fourth rank. Amrita has been adjudged as one of the "Top 10 Universities in India" for the fourth consecutive year. In the overall category, Amrita secured 13th place moving up two places from last year's position.

Amrita Among Top 10 Indian Universities in THE Asia University Rankings 2020

Amrita is among the Top 10 Indian universities ranked in the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia 2020 rankings and is the only Private University in Top 10. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has successfully secured 125th place in the Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2020 moving up from the 164th ranking position in 2019. 

The Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2020 uses the same 13 performance indicators as THE World University Rankings, but they are recalibrated to reflect the attributes of Asia’s institutions. The universities are judged across all their core missions – teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook – to provide the most comprehensive and balanced comparisons available.
