Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham's AmritaCREATE (Amrita Center for Research in Analytics, Technologies & Education (AmritaCREATE)) was selected to be one of five finalist teams for the $7M Barbara Bush Foundation's Adult Literacy XPRIZE in an awards ceremony on June 25, 2018, in New Orleans.

She presented Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham's Amrita RITE (Rural India Tablet enhanced Education) model that was inspired and guided by Chancellor Amma’s vision to provide both ‘education for making a living’ and ‘education for life’ skills.
