Overcoming Fear of Public Speaking

In many parts around the world, fear of public speaking is the number one fear in most people’s minds, ranking higher than even fear of death.
Four Alumni of Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore developed a software to help deaf kids communicate without sign language. Their project, called The Sign Language Animator (TESLA), has a software to translate text and speech into sign through an “Avatar” — 3D digital animation character.
Aditya K., final year student of Mechanical Engineering in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri, has been selected as junior research scientist in Cognitive Robotics Centre, Korean Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), Seoul. Ganesh Udupa is the project guide and the student's mentor, along with Pramod Sreedharan.
Aditya. K, fourth year mechanical engineering student at Amrita School of Engineering at Amritapuri campus has been selected as a Junior Research Scientist in the Cognitive Robotics Centre, Korean Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), Seoul. A student from Rajahmundry has made this possible with his interest in the field of robotics, specializing in Intelligent Systems. Dr. Ganesh Udupa is the project guide and the student's mentor, along with Pramod Sreedharan. Aditya is now working under the supervision of Yong Kwun Lee, Director, Bio-Robotics Lab, KIST.
