Amrita Volunteers Participated in Clean Up Drive at Sabarimala

Mata Amritanandamayi Math organized a cleaning drive at Sabarimala from November 12-13, 2016. A 1,000-strong Amala Bharathom volunteers of the Math have started removing the filth accumulated in the nook and cranny of Sabarimala as part of a two-day intensive pre-pilgrim season cleaning drive at the pilgrimage centre. 

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Undertakes Cleaning Drive at Sabarimala

Amala Bharatam volunteers of the Mata Amritanandamayi Math (MAM) completed the two-day cleaning drive at Sabarimala, Pampa and the traditional trekking path on Sunday afternoon. 2,000 volunteers take part in the two-day intensive cleaning drive. This is for the seventh time the Amala Bharathom team has been undertaking the cleaning program at Sabarimala. P. Venkat Rangan, Vice-Chancellor of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, and District Collector S. Harikishore also took part in the cleaning drive.

Amala Bharatham Cleanup Drive Started at Sabarimala

The clean-up drive by Amala Bharatham Campaign under Mata Amritanandamayi Math and Sabarimala Sanitation Society is initiated at Sabarimala as part of  the festival of  the temple. The drive was inaugurated by the minister Adoor Prakash.
