The 13^th issue of SAMVIT, the Bi-Annual Cultural Magazine, was released by Prof. Abhiraj Rajendra Mishra, Convener, Sanskrit Advisory Board, Sahitya Akademi, and Former Vice Chancellor, Sampurnanda Sanskrit University, Varanasi, in the presence of honorary scholars and guests at the one-day National Symposium on the Storytelling Tradition of Sanskrit on October 20, 2018, at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru Campus.

The team from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham won a series of prizes in music competitions at the 33rd Inter-university National Youth Festival-2018, Palash, organized by Ranchi University in collaboration with Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, February 16-20, 2018.

The 12^th issue of SAMVIT, the Bi-Annual Cultural Magazine, was released by Prof. R. Vaidyanathan, former Professor of Finance, IIM Bangalore, who has been featured in Thinkers50 India list, on 3^rd October, 2017, at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus.
