Amrita College of Nursing, Kochi, has released the Model Examination (June – July 2020) schdule for B. Sc. first year, second year, third year and fourth year.
B. Sc. Nursing students of Amrita College of Nursing won the first prize in the district-level skit competition in connection with World AIDS Day program organized by the District Medical Office (Health) and Kerala State AIDS Control Society.
The convocation ceremony of Amrita College of Nursing and Amrita School of Pharmacy was held at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences on September 3, 2019.
Dr. Sunil Moothedath, Professor and Head of the Department of Child Health Nursing, Amrita College of Nursing, Kochi, was the chief guest at the workshop on ‘A Step Ahead in Research’ and General Body Meet, conducted by the Alumni Association of the Father Muller College of Nursing (FMCON), on July 20, 2019. Dr. Sunil while addressing the gathering said that the alumni are the brand ambassadors of an institution and is proud of his alma-mater alumni for its efforts in growing in strength and commitment. “I feel a sense of pride to say that I am a part of the Father Muller Family. Family is the place where we get a basic foundation. People judge us by the family we come from, hence I feel proud to be a member of this family because people all over the world have high regards of this great institution,” he said. He concluded that the workshop in research was the need of the hour with medicine asking for evidence based research.
International Nurses Day 2019 was observed on May 13, 2019, by the Student Nurses Association (SNA), Amrita unit.
