Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Won Champion University Award

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham won the 'Champion University' award from Sun Microsystems, in the hotly- contested national- level Open Source contest titled 'Code for Freedom' held in Hyderabad. The award was presented to Amrita for the University with the highest number of contributions to the 'Code of Freedom' contest.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham won the 'Champion University' award from Sun Microsystems, one of worlds's leading computer and network companies, in the hotly- contested national- level Open Source contest titled 'Code for Freedom' held in Hyderabad. Associate Dean, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, receive the award from the founder of the Debian Project, JNU Linux and Vice President of Sun MicroSystems, Ian Murdock.
