A workshop on Spectral Analysis was conducted by the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Amrita School of Pharmacy, Kochi, from December 12-13, 2018.
The sessions were handled by Dr. D. Vasudevan and Dr. S. Radhakrishnan of Central Electro Chemical Research Institute, Karaikudi, Tamilnadu. The session included basic principles and importance of the various techniques of spectroscopic analysis such as UV, IR and NMR along with the solving problems on UV spectra, IR and 1H NMR interpretation, C NMR and mass spectroscopy, FT-NMR, 2D NMR and DEPT.
