National Academic Depository & Academic Bank of Credits
National Academic Depository (NAD):
National Academic Depository (NAD) is an initiative of GoI by UGC, and the Ministry of Education. NAD allows Academic Institutions to upload Academic Awards in digital format, this will be accessible for students at any time & from anywhere. Authorized academic partners can verify the authenticity of the documents with the student’s consent. Operates in fully online mode for paperless & presence less transaction of documents from one place to another place.
Academic Bank of Credits (ABC):
Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) is a virtual/digital storehouse that contains the information of the credits & credit points(grade points) earned by individual students throughout their learning journey. It has been established on the lines of the National Academic Depository (NAD).Students who have opened account under ABC can avail the facility to store and manage their credit scores, authentication of academic awards as well as credit verification, accumulation, transfer and redemption. It provides availability of “e options for Multiple Entry/Exit Option”. As per UGC guidelines all students enrolled from Year 2021 are requested to create ABC_ID.
Register using DigiLocker website – https://digilocker.gov.in/ or mobile app (android and iOS) with your Aadhaar.
After successful login into the Digilocker, Go to the Education section and click on View All
Select Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore.
Click on Degree/ Diploma Certificate.
Enter the Complete Roll No and Year of Passing Examination details for fetching Awards.
After filing all your correct details Click on Get Document.
After successful process, your degree certificate will be successfully saved in your issued documents.
Click on PDF button to download your degree certificate.
Exceptions:
For Integrated programmes who have passed both the Examinations (UG & PG) in the same year please use Roll No followed by the keyword “dual” for fetching the Bachelor Degree Certificate .
For Ph.D scholars Asterisk (“*”) character in Roll no is replaced with a space.
