The two year MSc Mathematics programme is intended to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of theoretical, analytical, and research-oriented approaches. The program’s objective is to give students a solid foundation in all recognised mathematical canons that are addressed in the course material. It complies with the UGC Regulations’ and the University’s regulations’ requirements for a choice-based credit system. Prior to submitting a dissertation report and publishing a SCOPUS paper based on their research, students are required to complete a project of their choice during the final semester. During this project, they can choose a topic of interest and learn the principles of performing academic research. This aids students in understanding the varying viewpoints of mathematical study. In order to develop students into true mathematicians, the programme attempts to enhance their analytical skills, research thinking, and investigation.
Programme Duration: 2 years (4 Semesters)
