Neuroelectrophysiology is a fast developing field in medical science. It operates the crossing of neurosciences, cellular engineering and signal processing. This course enables the neurotechniologist to perform and interpret electrophysiology procedures. The students will acquire skills to assess the patient and plan various electro diagnostic procedures and implement them. It is a three year graduate program with one-year compulsory internship. It is an exclusive course in which students have training in Sleep studies, Autonomic function tests, Pre-surgical evaluation of epilepsy, EEG (including Neonatal and long term monitoring), Nerve conduction studies, Electromyogram, Visual evoked potential, Brainstem, Auditory evoked potential and Somatosensory evoked potential.
As neuroelectrophysiology is an integral part of neurology, the neuroelectrophysiologists are in high demand in hospitals in India and abroad. Our students have high placement records in International hospitals in USA, UK, Canada, Middle East etc. There is a huge scope for neuroelectrophysiologists to pursue higher studies and research.
B. Sc. Neuro Electro Physiology
Three Years + One Year Internship
Pass in Plus Two with 60% Aggregate Marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English.
Online Application Fees : Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty Only)
Exam will be of objective type. Each Multiple Choice Question will consist of a stem and four options, labelled A, B, C and D. Only one option is correct and for each correct answer 3 mark will be awarded and 1 mark is deducted for every wrong answer.

Syllabus for Entrance Examination
Duration of Examination: 2 Hours
Syllabus: Based on 11th and 12th school curriculum.
Mode of Entrance Exam: Computer based test to be taken at respective centers.
Amrita Entrance Examination will be held in two phases. Phase 1 on 24th July 2022 and Phase 2 on August 2, 2022.

Date: 24th July 2022
Time & Slot: 09.00 AM to 11.00 AM
Last date to accept the application for Phase 1, to be held on 24th : 20th July.
Downloading of the admit cards will be start from 18th July. The link to download the Admit Card will be published in the Amrita Online Application Portal applicant dashboard.
Phase – 2
Date: 2nd August 2022
Time & Slot: 04.00 PM to 06.00 PM
The last date to submit the application for Phase 2 examination is 31st July 2022. (05.00PM)
How to apply for Phase 2?
Who can attend Phase 2:
Downloading of the admit cards to start from 28th July. The link to download the Admit Card will be published in the Amrita Online Application Portal applicant dashboard.
Percentile score will be published on the AOAP Dashboard for Phase 1 & Phase 2. Best percentile among both the phases is taken for the ranking. Selection will be based on the rank.
Date of counselling/admissions will be published later.
For all specialties, selection for candidates will be based on the rank obtained in the Amrita Entrance Examination. Allotment of seats for the shortlisted candidate will be based on the performance in the counseling/interview.
Out of total seats for all specialties, 50% seats will be allotted to the Merit category and 50% to the management category including NRI i.e. 15% of seats.
Candidates applying through agents/education counsellors using fraudulent means/ bribery/donations will be debarred to secure admission in any of the courses in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
Candidates are advised to frequently visit the admission page for latest updates.
It is important for the candidate to register their commonly used mobile number/email id. Do not provide email id/mobile number of education counsellors/agents/internet café operators etc. The candidate is solemnly responsible for any negligence.
Note: Once specialty is allotted, a request for a change of specialty will not be permitted. Request pertaining to the same will not be entertained.
