MFA-Visual Media with specialization in Applied Art and Advertising is a two-year intensive master’s program which will enhance creative skills like illustration and visualizations for advertising and brand communication designing in various media. Through this programme the students will learn technical skills in illustration, packaging design, typography, and advanced visualizations skills. The students also learn advanced photography and videography for advertising. Theoretical strategy planning and advertising is also taught intensely. This two-year postgraduate experience is meticulously crafted to refine the artistic vision of students and to fine tune their artistic sensibilities by intense course in Art History of the world to enable them to incorporate the sensibilities in their designing.
Advanced Fine Art Training: This programme takes the students through advanced art like anatomy drawing, manual and digital illustrations, Storyboarding and visualization, innovative sustainable packaging designs along with artistic photography and videography.
Master the Craft: The students will master the technicality of advanced graphic designing and digital editing skills to fine tune their strategic ideas into real-time materials.
Industry Readiness: The students are made to be industry ready with theoretical skills to convert marketing briefs into strategies, by learning advanced advertising and brand management theories with case studies.
Copywriting: Copywriting is given equal importance as designing. This helps the students to delve into the area of creative copy and content writing for various media.
Internship Programme: The final semester is dedicated to internship to enable students to put the knowledge and skill that they acquired during the course to put to practice in productive, real-time projects in the industry. During the internship the students will learn the nuances of practical brand management and ideate upon the real brand projects given by the respective advertising agencies.
