Objective of the program is to provide the Fellow with clinical competence in the diagnosis, management and prevention of infections together with a sound background in the basic sciences of microbiology, immunology, pathology, pharmacology, and epidemiology. In the process they also acquire laboratory skills and the ability to interpret data originating from a clinical microbiological laboratory. On completion of the program the graduate physician will be competent to function as a consultant in Infectious Diseases. Fellows will be paid stipend during the one year training period and there is no fees for this program
