The LL.M. programme at Amrita International School of Law is an advanced postgraduate course of study conceived to cultivate specialised legal knowledge, rigorous critical reasoning, and refined research capability among scholars engaging with emergent and increasingly complex domains of law.

This integrated pathway situates International Law in dialogue with Constitutional Law, enabling advanced engagement with international legal principles, treaty regimes, human rights jurisprudence, international trade law, and mechanisms of dispute resolution, in conjunction with constitutional conventions, doctrines, fundamental rights and duties, and the institutional architecture of governance. The pathway critically examines the interface between international legal norms and constitutional frameworks within both national and global systems of governance
This integrated pathway brings Commercial Law into conversation with Intellectual Property Law, spanning company law, contract law, and business regulation, together with maritime, port, air, and space law, alongside copyright, trademark, patent, design, and technology law. Distinct emphasis is accorded to the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights within the contemporary digital and global economy.

This integrated specialisation brings together the foundational and emerging dimensions of Commercial Law and Intellectual Property Law, reflecting the increasingly interconnected nature of law, commerce, technology, and innovation. The programme encompasses company law, contract law, business laws, maritime, port, air and space laws, together with copyright, trademarks, patents, designs, technology law, and innovation. Particular emphasis is placed on the protection, management, and enforcement of intellectual property rights within the digital and global economy, enabling students to critically engage with the legal challenges arising from contemporary commercial activity, technological advancement, and innovation.
