PACE and ACM Student Chapter of Amritapuri in association with ACRD (Amrita Center for Research and Development) are hosting a two-day technical workshop for students(+1 to PG) on Blockchain, from February 23- 24, 2019.

The workshop aims to give an overview of the blockchain technology along with a hands-on session.

The workshop shall lay special emphasis on explaining the concept of blockchain and its implementation in various areas.

Time & Venue

The workshop will be conducted during February 23 (Saturday)– February 24 (Sunday) 2019. The lecture presentations are scheduled for the forenoon session and Hands-on session in the afternoon.

The workshop will be organized at the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus.

Eligibility

The workshop is for students from different universities and schools (Plus one and plus two)

Pre-requisites

Ubuntu 16.04 LTS OS (If the participant has a personal computer. Optional)

Objective:

The primary target of the workshop is to benefit motivated students irrespective of their field of expertise. A major outcome of this workshop is the knowledge in blockchain technology to encourage you to start thinking about where you can apply it in your organization or business.

During this workshop, we would be hosting lecture sessions on the basics and applications of blockchain and hands-on workshop sessions on this area. Through this workshop, we aim at increasing the awareness about the application of blockchain among students and to bring them a step closer to this emerging field.
