Event

On the Eve of Kalakriti’19, the Annual Talent Hunt for Freshmen, on 23rd of August, 2019. The Sanskrit Club conducted fun events like ‘Sanskrit Coding’ and ‘Sanskrit Sudoku’ which promoted the language and engage the fresher’s attention to it.

A whole lot of brainstorming activities were conducted in 2019. A few of them are as follows:

• Sanskrit coding & decoding- Organised for Kalakriti. A competitive team event
• Sanskrit Sudoku- Organised for Kalakriti. A competitive team event
• Spoken Sanskrit classes- Conducted by a teacher from Saṁskr̥ta-Bhāratī
• Tale translation- Two tales were read aloud in Sanskrit and the participant has to translate those tales to any language of their choice.
• Character comparison- A character has to be chosen from either Rāmāyaṇa or Mahābhārata with any modern character from modern web series or movies and write a description in about 600 words.
• Pratidina-pada: A few simple Sanskrit words and their meanings were published everyday for a period of 4 months.
