Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and Brandeis University, USA, are jointly conducting an Online Distinguished Lecture on Cybersecurity by Prof. Anna Scherbina, Faculty, Brandeis International Business School, on July 29, 2021, from 7 PM to 9 PM Indian time. The lecture is an hour-long talk followed by a Question and Answer session on topic – Economic Threats on Malicious Cyber Activity, Economics of Cybersecurity, Impact of Cybercrime on the US Economy and Implications to rest of the world, etc.
Professor Anna Scherbina, Associate Professor of Finance, Brandeis International Business School, is an expert on various areas of Finance and Cybersecurity. From 2017 to 2019, Professor Scherbina was a senior economist at the White House’s Council of Economic Advisers and put together the Council’s views on Cybersecurity and its Impact on Business and the Economy.
