Spotlight 2020 – Amrita Bengaluru Campus 

Narthana, the Dance club of the School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru campus, conducted their flagship event “Spotlight 2020”. The winner of this competition earns the title of the ‘Best Dancer’ of the campus. On 25th February 2020, the first round of Spotlight was held. This round saw a huge number of participants, 35 in total. The criterion of judging the contestants was the costumes, expressions, precision, choice of song and overall appeal to the audience. Around 25 students qualified for the second round. The second round was held on 27th February 2020. The contestants put up great performances comprising different dance forms and styles. 18 participants were given a green card to the final round. The final round will be held on 3rd March, 2020. These two rounds were judged by faculty from different departments.
