Narthana, the dance club of Amrita Vishwa VIdyapeetham, Bengaluru campus, hosted its flagship event ‘Spotlight’ which was an on-campus hunt for Amrita’s “Best” and the “Most Popular” dancers, on February 11, 2019.

Spotlight witnessed twenty participants on 11th February 2019 battling against each other.  Out of the twenty, fifteen participants qualified to the second round. The first round comprised of Solo, Duos and Group Dance. The following round was exclusively for the solo performance of the qualified teams. The third round consisted of sub rounds that tested their versatility and on-spot choreography.  Ms. Vineetha Jain, Assistant Professor,    Department of CSE, Mr. Arjun Bharadwaj and Mr. Maneesh, Assistant Professors from Amrita Darshanam were the judges of the event. Mr. Hitesh (S6-ME) was adjudged ‘The Best Male Dancer’ and Ms. Nikitha, (S4-ECE) as ‘The Best Female Dancer’.
