Amrita Center for Wireless Networks & Applications along with Amrita Center for International Programs will host a free webinar on Safe, Reliable Contactless Energy Transfer – A Post-COVID Technological Revolution on July 25, 2020, 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm, through Microsoft Teams.

Dr. Prasanth Venugopal, Assistant Professor, Power Electronics & EMC group, Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Twente, Netherlands will be delivering the session.

Topics such as Wireless Power Transfer, Inductive Power Transfer (IPT), Multi-coil IPT Systems, Multi-Frequency IPT Systems, Wireless Power for Drones, and Industrial Implementation will be covered. The webinar is open to all students from science and engineering backgrounds.

Participation certificate will be provided for participants who actively participated in the session and submitted the feedback form.

About the Speaker

Dr. Prasanth Venugopal is currently working as an assistant professor at the University of Twente, Netherlands. He did his bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, India and Masters in Electrical Power Engineering from TU Delft He did his Ph.D. at TU Delft, Before joining U Twente, he worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer, Qualcomm Halo, Munich, Germany and Technical Specialist/Manager TDK Europe Gmbh (EPCOS), Munich, Germany.
