Amrita Center for Wireless Networks and Applications (AmritaWNA) will organize a workshop on Mobile Application Development using Flutter in Vidyut 2020 from January 31- February 1, 2020.

Want to create amazing apps instantly? Google UI toolkit Flutter helps you build a beautiful, natively compiled applications for mobile, web, and desktop from a single codebase. The workshop will help you build your own Flutter app to connect to a Google Firebase.

General Details
  • Build your own Flutter note-making app (iOS and Android). Learn to integrate Google Firebase backend to your app.
    Learn how and where to use Flutter packages.
  • Basic programming knowledge

Anandha Mohan

Currently serves as a Project Trainee at Amrita WNA. Possesses 2 years’ of experience as a PHP programmer. Currently working in mobile application development using flutter. Completed B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the College of Engineering and Management Punnapra.She has experience in end-to-end development of software products from requirement analysis to system study, designing, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. Developed & Designed Web-based application with PHP/jQuery and implementing database with MySQL.

Nidin Mahesh

Nidhin is a Project Intern at TIFAC Core in Cyber Security, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. He is a published researcher in Blockchain and experienced in setting up testbeds running Blockchain on IoT devices during his internship at Amrita WNA. He was leading the Google Developer Students Club at Amritapuri from Jan to Dec 2019. He has worked on projects focusing data analysing for testing apps and games and also core Android in which he had developed various apps for different Open-Source Organisations as his hobby and also as a freelancer. Furthermore to mention he has previous experience in developing Android Applications with Java and Kotlin. Lately, he has shifted the development from Kotlin to Flutter framework so he could deploy apps for both iOS and Android seamlessly. His main area of interest is Android, data analytics and Computer Networks.

Prerequisites: Each participant must bring a laptop.
