Amrita Center for Wireless Networks & Applications (AmritaWNA) and Amrita Centre for Research and Development (ACRD) organized a workshop on Smart City Applications using Raspberry Pi from May 22-23, 2019.

Guest Speaker: Mr. Korath Mathew, Kochi & Amaravathi Smart City Project*

Topics Covered:

  • Introduction to Raspberry Pi and other Single Board Computers​
  • Installation of Operating System ​
  • Connect to WiFi and install different Python modules
  • Configuring Raspberry Pi as Server & Client and establish communicate protocol​
  • Interfacing Digital Sensors and visualize the values
  • Introduction to MySQL Database ​
  • Introduction to Relay operation through REST APIs.
