Amrita Center for Wireless Networks & Applications (AmritaWNA) and Amrita Centre for Research and Development (ACRD) is organizing a workshop on Smart City Applications using Raspberry Pi from May 22-23, 2019, targeting graduate engineering students to equip themselves in their research and placements. This workshop will also be useful for those who want to undertake their final year projects in Smart Grid,Smart City, Smart Buildings.

  • Introduction to Raspberry Pi and other Single Board Computers​
  • Installation of Operating System ​
  • Connect to WiFi and install different Python modules
  • Configuring Raspberry Pi as Server & Client and establish communicate protocol​
  • Interfacing Digital Sensors and visualize the values
  • Introduction to MySQL Database ​
  • Introduction to Relay operation through REST APIs.
