Job Description	Patrolling assigned areas to ensure personal, building, equipment & gates to ensure full security Informing & warning violators of rule infractions Providing escort services for visitors, students, staff, & faculty, as necessary Watching for & reporting irregularities, such as security breaches, facility, safety hazards & emergency situations Appropriate handling of suspicious persons & Informing the right authorities Patrolling and monitoring assigned parking areas & garages to provide public security and assistance Preparing routine, standardized reports and records of people for In & Out Issuing visitor passes entering the facility with prior checking their identification and the purpose with the concerned Monitoring of property against Theft, Fire and Vandalism Documenting reports on incidents in the vicinity Alert throughout the shift. Answer calls aptly and pass on messages (priority based) Screening equipment’s like metal detectors have been made common in all places. Suggest security guards to make the best use of it Operating security hand phones for passing regular messages to security officers Alarming to weather conditions, Fire or any case of natural adversity caused Alerting system on crowd Student protection force & enforcing necessary rules Patrolling in the campus - Guiding of students, staffs & visitors to their respected destination within the facility Checking monitors on & off for cameras duly functioning at regular intervals A minimum of two guards at the Main gate with at least a security personnel at out gates - necessity of 1 each near the central parking (whether needed) at smaller parking spaces Timely escalation to management. Ex-service men under VRS & CRPF with fire and safety professional certifications will be given more preference.
