The Amritamgamaya 2024 staff development program took place on 3rd February 2024 at Amriteshwari Hall, Amritapuri Campus. The one-day program aimed to provide staff with valuable insights and was well-received by the participants, who found the sessions informative and engaging.
The program commenced with an ice breaking session by Dr Harikrishnan, Amrita School of Spiritual and Cultural Studies, Amritapuri Campus.
The subsequent session was graced by the presence of Sampoojya Swami Purnamritananda Puri, along with Swamiji’s Flute Meditation, setting a peaceful and contemplative tone for the day. This was followed by a session on advice from Rishis on Intellectual Living by Br Achyuthamrita Chaitanya, Principal, School of Spiritual and Cultural Studies, Amritapuri Campus, which provided ancient wisdom on intellectual and spiritual well-being. Additionally, Dr Ram Manohar,Research Director, Amrita School of Ayurveda, Amritapuri, led a session on Wellness and Nutrition, providing valuable information on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
In the afternoon, an interactive session was conducted by Jayamohan K P, GM, Amrita Office of Communication, engaging participants in discussions and activities. The Core team of the SDP from the School of Spiritual and Cultural Studies led by Dr Saranya A R, Dr Parvathy Jayaram and Dr Agaja M, took sessions on healthy eating, workplace yoga, and daily routines. The program concluded with a feedback session led by Br Sivanandan, Coordinator, School of Spiritual and Cultural Studies, Amritapuri Campus.
Bri Vandana, Program Coordinator acknowledged the feedback and suggestions provided by the participants and assured the possibility of organizing a one-day tour for the staff.
