Amrita Coconut Research and Development (ACORD) Center is happy to announce by Amma’s grace and blessings, the signing of an MoU with the industrial partner Marico’s Parachute Kalpavriksha Foundation (PKF) with headquarters at Coimbatore. The MoU was signed on Sep 13, 2023, at Amritapuri Campus. The MoU is a culmination of multiple visits on both sides. The team from ACORD visited the headquarters at Coimbatore and also their factory which produces 356 metric tonnes of coconut oil per year at Perundurai, Tamilnadu, which is one of the largest in the world.
Shri. Arun V, Plant Head at Marico Ltd., signed the MoU on behalf of Marico’s PKF and Shri. Parameswaran signed on behalf of Amrita. Shree Suresh Kodoor, Director, Amrita Industry Partnership exchanged the signed MoU. Shri. Aravind G S, Lead, PKF was also present during the ceremony.
