Dr. Jayaram K. P. currently is an Assistant Professor (Sr. Gr.) in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai campus.

Dr. Jayaram completed his BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from College of Engineering Trikaripur, Kasargod, affiliated to Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi in 2011, and ME in Communication Systems from College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, Chennai, in 2013. He received his PhD in the area of Antennas and Microwave from Anna University, Chennai, in 2016. He worked as an Institute Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Engineering Design, IIT Madras, from 2017 to 2020. He worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Engineering Design and Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Madras, from 2020 to 2021. He has 3 years and 5 months of post-doctoral research experience at IIT Madras. He has 2 granted Indian patents and 2 filed Indian patents. He has18 international journal publications, 14 national and international conference publications. His research interests include RFID Antennas, Automotive Antennas, Microwave Circuits and Microwave Nondestructive Evaluation. He is a recipient of SERB International Travel support for young scientists for attending ENDE-18, Detroit USA, 2018 and URSI-InRaSS Young Indian Radio Scientist Award 2019.
