3+2 Integrated Master’s Program / Collaborative Academic Program (CAP) with KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden

KTH is one of Europe’s leading technical universities, garnering international recognition in the fields of technology and the natural sciences. Located in Stockholm, Sweden, KTH is one of Scandinavia’s largest institutions of higher education, providing educational programs leading to a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD degree in engineering, science, or architecture.

KTH is known for its emphasis on conducting research at the international level and gives great value to collaborative research projects carried out in conjunction with experts, researchers, and students from abroad. In addition, KTH has extensive educational exchange programs with universities in Europe, the U.S., Australia, and increasingly, in Asia.

Students can earn B.Tech and MS in five years. Selected Amrita students will complete their first three years at Amrita and the next two years at KTH. After five years students will be awarded a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Amrita and a Masters degree from KTH in one of the following specializations: Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering(EIE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering.

3+2 Integrated Master’s Program with Grenoble INP, France

Grenoble INP is a French technological university system consisting of six engineering schools. Founded in 1900, it became the National Polytechnical Institute in 1971. Grenoble INP and its engineering schools are regularly ranked among the best engineering schools in France and worldwide. Grenoble INP ranks 3rd in France in materials science and 4th in Engineering and technology as per the QS ranking.

Students will get a Bachelor of Technology degree (B.Tech) from A MRITA and a Master of Science (M.S) from Grenoble in five years. Mechanical / Electronics and Communication / Electrical and Electronics Engineering students who are willing to do Masters in Sustainability and Industrial Engineering at Grenoble INP can apply.

The University of Twente is a public technical university located in Enschede, the Netherlands. The University has been placed in the top 400 universities in the world by three major ranking tables. The UT collaborates with the Delft University of Technology, the Eindhoven University of Technology, and the Wageningen University and Research Centre under the umbrella of 4TU and is also a partner in the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU).

Students can earn a Bachelor of Technology degree (B.Tech) from Amrita and MS degree from University of Twente in five years. The students from Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering can apply.

The University of California, Irvine (UCI or UC Irvine) is a public research university in Irvine, California. UCI is one of the 65 universities in the U.S. and Canada elected to membership in the prestigious Association of American Universities.

Students will be awarded a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Amrita and a Masters degree from UC Irvine, in one of the following specializations: Biomedical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Materials Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. The University of California, Riverside (UCR or UC Riverside) is a public research university in Riverside, California. It is one of the 10 general campuses of the University of California system. 3+1+2 Integrated Master’s Program with Ecole Centrale Nantes, France

Ecole Centrale de Nantes (ECN) or Centrale Nantes, a French engineering school, was established in 1919. Equipped with a strong managerial culture, they are capable of placing scientific subjects into a global context incorporating environmental and societal issues. As a member of the Ecoles Centrales Group (Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes and Paris), Centrale Nantes delivers programs of the highest quality to rigorously selected students. Centrale Nantes is consistently ranked within the top engineering schools in France – 6th out of 168 French engineering schools in L’Etudiant 2017 ranking.

Upon fulfilling certain criteria selected students receive their B. Tech degree from Amrita and complete their fourth year at École Centrale Nantes. They subsequently gain admission into the two year master’s program at ECN. Students from Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering can apply.

4+1 Integrated Master’s Program with University of New Mexico, USA

Under the Integrated Masters Program (also called the University of New Mexico Global Engineering Scholars Program), students can complete their four year B.Tech program at Amrita and then complete their one year Masters degree at the University of New Mexico (UNM), USA. Students will subsequently be awarded a B.Tech from Amrita and an M.S. from UNM. During the Masters program, students can specialize in the following areas: Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Construction, Computer Science, Biological, Nuclear, Aerospace, Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Engineering.

4+1 Integrated Master’s Program with Oakland University, USA

Integrated Masters program – Master of Science in Information Technology Management (MSITM) or Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) with Oakland University’s School of Business Administration. Oakland University’s MBA and Executive MBA programs rank among the best in the nation, according to CEO Magazine’s Global MBA Rankings for 2017.
Students with BTech (CS / IT) OR any Engineering student with some experience / exposure to programming and Information Systems OR MCA OR MBA with programming, IS, exposure can apply. For students who want to do Business Analytics, some background in basic statistics is needed, else they can take the preparatory course and foundations courses before continuing with the program.
