The CNC programming micro-credential is geared towards students and professionals who have some experience with machining and engineering drawing experience. It is geared towards the programming aspect of Computerized Numerical Controls (CNC).

Course Details

The Computerized Numerical Controls (CNC) course shall be conducted for three month

No. of hours : 240 Hrs
Course Duration : Three months
No. of students per batch : 10 students.
Course fee : Rs 35,000
Eligibility : Tenth Pass & Plus Two  ( Knowledge of Drawing preferable but not compulsory )
Medium of Instruction : English & Malayalam

Curriculum

Module 1 – Geared towards students and professionals with machining and engineering drawing experience

Focus: Programming aspect of Computerized Numerical Controls (CNC).
Learning Objectives:

  • Write and optimize code for lathes and mills.
  • Gain hands-on experience through simulated runs of the programs.
  • Develop an understanding of the complexities of the manufacturing process.

Module 2 – CAD-CAM technology

  • Designing and machining or manufacturing with a CNC Machine.
  • Designing and drawing, using geometric shapes to construct a model using CAD Software.
