The School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus, is organizing a Two Day Symposium on Post COVID-19 Research Challenges & Opportunities as part of Annual Research Day 2021, on October 27 – 28, 2021.
With respect to pandemic suitability, the current advancements in the areas of technology and automation useful for executing several day-to-day activities which are posing various types of challenges, which demand research in the areas of computation & modeling, physical & chemical sciences, and Data analysis.
The objective of the School Annual Research Day is to share various research challenges in the theme of post COVID-19 Research opportunities and challenges.
Further, the lighting talk aims at throwing out new open research opportunities in the post pandemic era to the budding researchers and opens up doors for bright carrier prospects for under graduates and post graduates.

The contagious disease (COVID-19) has dissolved most of the day to day life of human kind including research”. Several challenges are posed in this direction in the emerging areas of automation, computation, modelling, physicochemical & biological sciences and data analytics.
The goal of the School’s Annual Research Day is to explore various research opportunities and challenges related to post-COVID-19 era. Furthermore, the technical talks are aiming at introducing several novel research opportunities in the post-pandemic era to young researchers. Additionally, it also open doors to bright career prospects for undergrads, postgrads and scholars. Competition on how to write literature with an emphasis on the post- COVID-19 scenarios aims at exploration of research perspectives with reference to the current state of the art in the proposed themes.
