Dr. Shreehari V. Gokarnakar served as Assistant Professor at Amrita Darshanam, International Center for Spiritual Studies, Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai campus, India. His research research interests include Ancient Indian Sciences, Chandaśśāstra, Classical and Vedic Sanskrit literature, Education and real-life applications, Manuscripts, Nāṭyaśāstra, Vyākaraṇaśāstra. Dr. Shreehari V. Gokarnakar has 14 years’ experience (2005 to 2019) of working as a visiting faculty at Bharat College of Fine Arts and Culture, Mumbai. He was also working in Sarfojiraje Bhosale Bharatanatyam Training and Research Center, (SBBTRC) Mumbai, since 2005.

Aswathi Chandran is an Assistant professor at the School of Spiritual and Cultural Studies, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus. With a postgraduate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, she brings over a decade of teaching and research experience to her academic role. Her interdisciplinary research interests include art-integrated learning, quality education, classical dances, cultural sustainability, cultural heritage, and Itihasas. She is a trained classical dancer with more than 25 years of experience. She has effectively implemented art-based pedagogies to enhance student engagement, particularly in teaching Itihasas like Ramayana and Mahabharata to engineering students. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies, focusing on the intersection of dance and education. Her Ph.D. research explores the “Pedagogy of Indian Classical Dance and its applicability in education”. The research intends to contribute to the preservation and integration of Indian classical dance in contemporary educational frameworks.
