IQAC and Research & Consultancy Cell collaboratively propose to organize a One Day Workshop on “Materializing Ideas to IP” on 13-June-2023 in Hybrid Mode.

Objective

The workshop addresses the gap usually researchers face in materializing their research ideas to a potential patent. In detail, the workshop aims to:

  1. How to ideate & its technical interpretation.  
  2. Commercializing the idea. 
  3. Legal procedures in safe guarding the idea or invention.  
  4. Entrepreneurial Skills development. 

Target Audience 

All the faculty members of Higher Education Institutions, Research Scholars, Industry personnel and interested student community.

Outcomes

The attendees would be expected to 

  1. Understand in depth about Ideas and able to identify its potential towards patenting. 
  2. Interpret the technical considerations that is possible, feasible, and commercially viable.
  3. Understand the Legal aspects in IP handling and claiming the rightful ownership of a patent.
  4. Understand the skills required for entrepreneurship and imbibing them.
