Bio

Dr. Vidhyasagar B. S. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Computing, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai Campus.

Dr. Vidhyasagar obtained his BE (CSE) and ME (CSE) from Sri Muthukumaran Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, in 2007 and 2011, respectively. He obtained his PhD degree in the area of Cloud and Big Data from Anna University, Chennai, in 2021.

Dr. Vidhyasagar has been teaching for over 12 years, and has guided both UG and PG projects. His research interests include Cloud Computing, Amazon Web services, Big Data, Load Balancer, and Virtualization. He has completed twelve online certifications and has attended various Faculty Development Programs and workshops on Cloud and Big Data. Also, he served as a resource person at various workshops and FDPs.

He has published articles in fifteen international journals, three international conferences, and four national conferences. He served as a reviewer in the International Conference on Computational Intelligence & Computing Applications 21, conducted by G H Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur, supported by the American Institute of Physics, Reviewer in Sensor review, Emerlad publication and reviewer in Computers & Electrical Engineering-Elsevier. Also, he has published two Indian patents.

He has completed professional certification programmes on “Remote Work and Virtual Collaboration” and “AWS Cloud Practitioner”. Initially, a certified AWS Cloud Educator, subsequently he became an AWS Faculty Cloud Ambassador (2019 to 2021).
