Bio

Dr. Vishal Bhalla is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore. He has previously worked in the department of mechanical engineering at college of engineering Pune. He did his PhD from Indian Institute of Technology Ropar in the field of nanofluid and solar thermal collectors, and specially looked at the optical properties of the nanofluids. He and his colleagues have proposed various innovative ideas in the field of harnessing of solar energy with nanofluids.

He has excellent command on experiments and has very innovative and creative thought process which is very useful in experimental work. Prior to PhD he obtained his masters from Thapar University Patiala and bachelors from Punjab Technical University both in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
