Bio

Ms. Lakshmi Saranya is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She currently serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Psychology, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi. Her extensive experience has been in working with mental health of children and adolescent, of varying age and cultural backgrounds, presenting with diverse complaints and conditions as well as neuropsychology. She had also worked as an Assistant Clinical Psychologist at Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, Thrissur, for about a year, in the Department of Psychiatry. She is very sincere and compassionate with a strong desire to help people and make a difference.

She completed M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from Manipal University in 2015. Her thesis is on Graded Motor Imagery and Phantom Limb Pain. She passed the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lectureship in the year 2011. She is a 2nd Rank holder in Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Calicut University (2010).
