• Facilitated an interactive session with the popular writer Sri Harinder Sikka, the author of the best-selling novel, Calling Sehmat called ‘Inscribing Sehmat: A tete-a-tete with Harinder Sikka’ on Wednesday, 14 November 2018 at 1.30 pm in the Seminar Hall.
• Coordinated for the third consecutive year, the Department of English collaborated with the Antharashtra Pusthakotsava Samithy in hosting the Kochi International Literary Festival 2018 from November 5 – 9
• Organised a one-day National workshop on Gender and Theatre in India on August 4, 2018. It was led by Mr. Benil Biswas, Assistant professor of Ambedkar University, Delhi.
