Bio

Dr. Vinith Kumar Nair currently serves as Associate Director at the Amrita Centre for Accreditations, Rankings & Eminence. He has done his PGDM from Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore & Master’s Degree in Commerce from Vikram University (M.P.). He has a PhD in Services Marketing and is a Fellow of International Association of Accounting Professionals (IAAP-IBA), U.K.

Prior to joining Amrita University, he was Full-Professor in Marketing and Associate Dean-External Affairs at TKM Institute of Management, Kerala, India & visiting expert faculty to National Institute of Fashion Technology, Kannur. He has been a consultant to many organisations like Mathrubhumi, Kerala State Cashew Development Corporation, Directorate of Coir, Kerala, AAMC- Australia & Kalliyath Group.

In his career spanning more than 20 years as a Management Professional, Business Consultant, Blogger, VBlogger & Corporate Trainer he has maintained a strong liaison between industry and academics and has been instrumental in starting new ventures and turning around organisations. He has curated three Post Graduate Diploma Programs (equivalent to MBA), Certificate Courses & International Immersion Programs to foreign universities for B-Schools in India. He curated one of the leading news portals in Marketing, Passionate in Marketing and as Chief Editor of the news portal maintained a strong liaison with various Companies & PR Agencies in India & abroad. He also Co-founded the Academia Industry connect platform MaxEd & the Research & Content Development firm i-miRa Knowledge Solutions. He was Honoured by National Institute of Personnel Management, Trivandrum Chapter in 2019 for his outstanding contribution in management education.

He has successfully guided 4 Ph.D scholars in the area of Management from Bharathiar University for the award of PhD Degree. He has presented many papers in International and National Conferences/Seminars and published several research papers in the area of Marketing in nation & international journals of repute.

He has successfully organised many MDP’s in the area of Enhancing Selling Skills, Customer Relationship Management & Leveraging social media for Business for leading corporates in India & abroad. Dr. Vinith has conducted many FDP programs in the areas of Case Teaching & Research, Use of social media in Classrooms, E- Learning etc. An expert in Case Teaching he is the author of two Case Books titled ‘Cases in Services Marketing’ & ‘Management Case Book’ published by Excel Books, New Delhi.
