Job description

  • The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students in areas including graphic designing, photography, audio editing and production, video editing, and videography.

  • In addition to academic responsibilities, the faculty member will oversee media coverage of all campus events, ensuring high-quality documentation and promotional content.

  • Applicants should possess strong technical proficiency in industry-standard software, a creative portfolio, and a passion for guiding students in both theoretical and practical aspects of media production.

  • Prior teaching experience and event media handling will be considered an added advantage.
Responsibilities

  • Conduct hands-on practical sessions in graphic designing, photography, audio/video editing, and videography for UG and PG students. 

  • Teach and demonstrate the use of industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Audition, and related tools. 

  • Provide technical support and supervision in media labs, ensuring proper usage and maintenance of equipment and software. 

  • Assist in the setup and management of studio environments for photography and video production.  Support and collaborate with students on live media assignments, including event documentation and content creation. 

  • Maintain and update lab resources, including software, hardware, and instructional materials. 

  • Support students during internships and media-related fieldwork, offering mentorship and feedback. 

  • Ensure safety and discipline in lab environments, promoting a productive and creative learning atmosphere.
