About the Project

The use of IoT devices and Drones has increased in the past decade. This also increased the security risks associated with these devices. These devices are more prone to attacks and can be easily exploited. The research will majorly focus on finding solutions to IoT Security Issues and Maldrone attacks. Ph.D. under this scheme has three openings.

Vulnerability analysis on MQTT, protecting information in IoT, identifying the security weakness of third-party applications installed, and providing solutions for the same.

Scanning the IoT devices for vulnerabilities and using penetration testing tools before setting up the network. Proposing solutions to fix the detected vulnerability and alerting users on the detected vulnerability.

Detecting maldrone attacks and recovering from it. The research will include strengthening the drone system and intelligent response prototyping for drones.
