About the MSc program in Translational Medicine:

The PG program in Translational Medical Research is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to bridge the gap between basic scientific research and the development of medical applications. The curriculum typically includes a combination of core courses, elective courses, and hands-on research experiences. The following is a list of courses in this program:

Introduction to Translational Medicine
  • Overview of the principles, goals, and challenges of translational medicine.
Biostatistics and Research Methodology:
  • Statistical methods for experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation of results in medical research
Epidemiology in Translational Research:
  • Study of disease distribution and determinants in human populations to inform translational research.
Clinical Trials and Regulatory Affairs:
  • Principles and design of clinical trials, ethical considerations, and regulatory processes.
Bioinformatics for Translational Medicine:
  • Analysis and interpretation of biological and clinical data using bioinformatics tools.
Cell and Molecular Biology:
  • In-depth study of cellular and molecular mechanisms relevant to disease and therapeutic interventions.
Immunology and Immunotherapy:
